WICA Labor Relations Update

The leaders of the Western States Conference and WICA will be holding their annual labor-management meeting on August 3 and 4 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. On August 3, the group will focus on several labor-management topics and best practices from around the Western Region. On August 4, there will be a special focus on apprentice and journeyman training with each of the local training directors participating. All WICA contractors are welcome to attend.

WICA-OSW and Local 36 settled their master labor agreement on April 24. It will run for four years, expiring on March 22, 2026. The Nevada WICA chapter and the Northern California chapter are in negotiations presently, with the agreement in Local 135 expiring June 30 and the agreement in Local 16 expiring July 31.
