WICA Board Of Directors Met In February To Chart The Course Ahead
The WICA Board Of Directors met this past month to finalize the association plans for 2017 and address some of the many challenges in the industry. In addition to reviewing the performance and programs provided by WICA, a great deal of discussion centered around topics such as; WICA Organizational Strategic Planning, WICA Contractor Member Recruitment, Labor Relations, and increasing the utility of the Annual Convention. Additionally, long time WICA member Terry Philley of Alaska Insulation Specialties, was appointed by the WICA Board Of Directors to serve as an At-Large Contractor Board Member. Terry is a long-time supporter of WICA and has consistently played a role in helping WICA expand the membership base throughout Alaska. Terry’s unique expertise and understanding of the many challenges facing the Alaska marketplace will be greatly valued on the Board of Directors.
The next Board Of Directors meeting will be held in July, and currently devotes a full day meeting focusing on long range planning that will better serve WICA members. To that end, if you have suggestions on how WICA can better serve you or programs you would like considered please contact a WICA board member or staff person.
