WICA Annual Convention Goes Off with a Bang

From September 20-22, members of the Western Insulation Contractors Association met at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe in Incline Village, NV for the WICA Annual Convention.  This year’s conference featured many great events including an opening reception in the majestic water gardens, a perfect afternoon on the links of the Championship Course at Incline Village and a spouse hike around Spooner Lake and lunch at the Sierra Cafe.  The educational lineup featured three very informative sessions taught by Gary Polain and Jason Thomas on improving leadership skills, creating excellent company culture, and a live demo of MIKE’s new Visual Takeoff 5.  During the second day of meetings, leaders of the industry had the opportunity to meet together and discuss industry trends and challenges as a group.  Finally, the convention rounded up with a ponderosa-themed President’s Dinner featuring a western duo, a mechanical bull, saloon-style gambling, and s’mores out on the patio overlooking the lake.
