WICA 2017 Annual Convention Sets Focus to The Future
Members gathered at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle, Washington on Monday, September 10th to Tuesday, September 12th sharing ideas, inspiration, and laughter at the WICA 2017 Annual Convention.
Convention featured an energizing lineup of well rounded speakers which included, David Allen of McKinstry, David Norris of Hermanson Company, and Kelly Sloan of Lanak & Hanna. David Allen spoke to Keynote Breakfast attendees about a changing workforce and the unprecedented changes that management and the aging workforce will have to learn in order to compete and attract top talent from across the social and socio-economic spectrum. David Norris and Kelly Sloan spoke to members about technical issues they may face regarding safety and legal issues.
Attendees enjoyed clear skies and warm days as they explored Seattle by sea and on land. Members took to the course and played a full 18 holes of golf at the Jefferson Park Golf Club.
The spouse program featured a one-hour boat cruise around the Seattle Harbor. Clear skies provided for a beautiful backdrop against the Seattle skyline.
