Platinum Sponsor Highlight: ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation — 2026

ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation (RTI) is proud to be a member of WICA and grateful for the outstanding work performed by our contractor partners, whose expertise continues to showcase the value of high-performance industrial insulation. In recent years, RTI’s growth across the western U.S. has been driven by strong specification positions in the power generation and OEM markets. From green hydrogen projects and natural gas combined-cycle facilities to geothermal applications, owners and engineers are selecting ROCKWOOL solutions for some of the industry’s most demanding operating environments. Likewise, OEM customers rely on our acoustic insulation solutions for metal buildings and equipment enclosures designed to house high-noise, heavy-duty operating systems.
As part of the ROCKWOOL Group, headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, RTI benefits from a long-term commitment to growth in the North American market. To support increasing demand, ROCKWOOL is making significant investments in manufacturing capacity across the region. Construction is currently underway on our first manufacturing facility in the western U.S., located in Wallula, Washington. The state-of-the-art plant will feature electric melting technology and is expected to begin operations in 2028. This facility will become ROCKWOOL’s fifth manufacturing plant in North America. In addition, a major expansion of our manufacturing operations near Memphis, Tennessee, is scheduled for completion in 2027.
Through continued investment in innovation—including award-winning Water Repellency and Corrosion Resistant (WR/CR-Tech®) technology—ROCKWOOL is helping raise industry standards for performance, durability, and reliability. Combined with expanded manufacturing capacity, these investments ensure that we can continue delivering the products and support our customers need to meet the demands of today’s most critical industrial projects.
